Financial Literacy

Financial Literacy is one of Project RISHI at UC Davis’ newest projects that is focused on incorporating an activity-based, financial literacy lesson plans into a curriculum. The goal of this project is to empower the children of Andimadam in their financial decisions by creating workshops and a mini curriculum that will help provide the fundamentals of finances and necessary concepts that are applicable to their lives. We hope to start discussion on financial topics like spending, saving, and budgeting in simple formats that are easily adaptable for the children’s lives.
